BlueStar Designs was created in 2020 as a creative outlet during a global pandemic!

I went from a being busy mom of 4 to someone with a lot of time on my hands!

I've always loved to be creative and have been drawn to the intriguing world of gemstones.  I am also a firm believer in affirmations and positive intentions.

I wanted to create something meaningful yet sustainable that people could connect with. Gemstones provide that connection as individuals are drawn to their specific properties. 

The affirmation bracelets are a way to wear your positivity on your wrist!  A daily reminder of who you are and where you are meant to be or simply a bit of comfort in trying times.

Stainless steel is low maintenance (corrosion-free; tarnish-free and durable); hypoallergenic (lead free and nickel safe); and eco-friendly. In the production process, the amount of energy used and waste produced is dramatically less than in the production of other metals for jewelry.  It is also 100% recyclable!   

The name "BlueStar" comes from my favourite colour (Blue) + my love of stars (one of my favourite sayings is "only in darkness can you see the stars").

My hope is that through these meaningful creations you are able to see your own stars!
